LEGAL
Privacy Policy.
Skycrest Creative ("Skycrest," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit skycrestcreative.com (the "Site") or engage us for design, development, branding, or hosting services, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site or our services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit the contact form, request a quote, sign an engagement, or communicate with us by phone or email, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message, and any project details you choose to share. If you become a client we may also collect billing information, business details, brand assets, and account credentials you provide so we can perform the work.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we automatically collect a limited set of technical data, which may include your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Information from third parties. Service providers we use (for example our email delivery provider, hosting infrastructure, and payment processors) may pass us information such as email delivery status, error logs, and payment confirmation metadata.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed to children.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form;
- prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices;
- deliver design, development, and hosting services you have engaged us for;
- operate, monitor, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- send transactional communications such as project updates, receipts, and account notices;
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our legal rights.
We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly opt in, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business, and only with parties who are contractually obligated to protect it. Categories of recipients include:
- Service providers that power the Site and our services — for example our hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery provider, analytics (when enabled), and payment processor.
- Professional advisors such as our accountants and attorneys, when reasonably necessary.
- Legal authorities, when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Skycrest, our clients, or others.
- Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets — your information may transfer to the successor subject to this Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations (for example tax and accounting requirements), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Inquiry messages that do not turn into engagements are typically deleted within 24 months. Client project files and records are typically kept for at least seven years after the engagement ends.
5. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, where required by law, within the timeframe set by applicable regulation.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through settings or extensions. Doing so may affect parts of the Site that rely on them.
7. International users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., be aware that information collected through the Site will be processed and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
8. Third-party links
The Site may include links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any third-party site you visit.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated more prominently — for example by a notice on the Site or by email to active clients.
10. Contact us
